1. Entry Level Engineer
MAHA Engineering is seeking an Entry Level Engineer for our Construction Material Testing (CMT) division in Raleigh, North Carolina office. Duties: The ideal candidate must be able to perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications. The ultimate goal of this position is to become a Project Manager with the ability to manage multiple high profile projects while coordinating multiple technicians.
Qualifications: A B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required Engineering Intern is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to quickly learn project management skills which include scheduling, execution, problem solving. You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and pass a background check and drug screen.
2. Construction Material Testing Field Technician
MAHA Engineering is seeking a Construction Material Testing (CMT) Field Technician in our Raleigh, North Carolina office. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package including: medical, dental, life insurance, accrued vacation and paid holidays. Duties: As a CMT Field Technician, you will observe contractors on construction sites and perform basic field soil and concrete tests under the direction of engineering professionals to ensure that testing, sampling, and inspections are performed in accordance with project specifications.
Qualifications: Prior experience is preferred. A High School Diploma (or equivalent), good math and personal communication skills, a valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record is required. ACI Level I concrete field testing technic certification is preferred. You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and pass a background check and drug screen. Since the work is outdoors, you must be able to work in various weather conditions and lift 30 to 50 pounds repeatedly.
